Future Research

The project lies in the promotion of research structures working on philosophy of education in Portuguese-speaking countries, so that it is possible to build a real community. On the other hand, through the growth of the Society of Philosophy of Education in Portuguese Language, the researchers of the project are deeply engaged in the support to the organization of a congress on philosophy of education in Cape Verde and a congress on the same topic in São Paulo, Brazil. It is also expected the launch of a book in the field of the Portuguese philosophical and pedagogical thought and also a collective work on philosophy of education in the Portuguese-speaking world. Special attention will be paid to the establishment of protocols and to the attendance of events in the several Portuguese-speaking countries, always with the intention of creating a philosophical community with its own identity and being capable of working as such in the international panorama.
