The first goal of these lessons is to introduce students and researchers to the philosophy of new technologies. New technologies are an "ensemble technique" (Gilbert Simondon) made of Web 2.0, mobile access to the Internet, nanotechnologies, GPS, Internet of things, semantic Web, cloud computing, augmented reality, etc. Hence, new technologies entail several functions (calculation, memory, algorithm, information, etc.) and different impacts on our life (traceability, surveillance, choice, governmentality, etc.). Today, philosophers worldwide are dealing with ontological, ethical, epistemological, political and existential aspects of new technologies. The second goal of these lessons is to describe my own path in this domain. Closed to, but different from, Stiegler's "pharmacology", I am developing in my researches a "critical hermeneutics" (Szondi) of new technologies. On the one hand, technologies are used as a tool to deconstruct standard phenomenological and hermeneutical approaches. On the other hand, hermeneutics is used in order to display external and internal limits of any technological understanding of reality.
