This group of the GFM develops and broadens further the previous research program "Reason and Mysticism in Medieval Philosophy".

marcadorGeneral Objectives

The aim of this group is to provide analysis of some still little explored subjects of medieval philosophy. The research and its different activities (such as meetings, papers, critical editions, dissertations, and publications) will be carried out in contact with major foreign research centres and specialists.

The group is structured in four thematic areas, which are nonetheless connected in the development of common activities. Accordingly, a number of M.A. and PhD dissertations will be accomplished within the range of interests of the research group.
